  1. Gossiping: You might have seen people often engaged in gossiping to get the saddest pleasure without knowing the result. It not only spreads rumors but also kills your valuable time. In no way does it do any good benefits to anyone. It is just useless exercise to produce low energy and attract negative sentiments. Karen Salmanohn rightly says-“Gossip is poison. Gossip is hurtful. Gossip is low vibration. Don’t engage in it.” It can harm relationships, spread false information, and violate privacy.
  2. Backbiting: Backbiting is similar to gossip but usually involves talking negatively about someone behind their back, often to damage their reputation. Why backbiting? You might have encountered such a situation in your life. The reason is very clear jealousy and the product of an inferiority complex. But in many cases, people indulge in such negative campaigns only to tarnish other’s image without even their own profit. It can lead to trust issues and conflicts.
  3. Procrastination: Procrastination is the habit of delaying tasks or responsibilities. It is a bad habit where people don’t need to come out of their comfort zone. They feel sufficient in their present position without thinking about their future prospect. Procrastination often leads to stress, missed opportunities, and decreased productivity.
  4. Gambling and Online Gaming: Gambling and online gaming can be highly addictive, especially for people who are vulnerable to addiction. The addictive nature of these activities is often due to the way they are designed. Gambling and online gaming can also lead to financial ruin. Gamblers can lose large amounts of money very quickly, and they may continue to gamble even when they can no longer afford to do so. Online gamers may also spend large amounts of money on microtransactions, which can lead to debt and financial problems. When you are financially ruined you are more prone to domestic violence and family trouble.

Night owls are more likely to experience sleep deprivation than early birds. This is because they tend to go to bed and wake up later than most people, which can disrupt their circadian rhythm. Sleep deprivation can lead to many health problems, including fatigue, difficulty concentrating, mood swings, and increased risk of accidents. Further, they may experience social jet lag, which is a mismatch between their natural sleep-wake cycle and the demands of their social life and work schedule. Low productivity and disruption of family life are other major drawbacks.
  7. Unnecessary Arguments: Many people tend to draw into controversies without any valid reason. Engaging in unnecessary arguments is one of the patterns observed during such a process. It can end with strained relationships, waste of time and energy, mental agony, and often result in no productive outcome.
  8. Interference in Other Matters: Do you think putting a nose in another’s business is a good or bad habit? I am sure you will definitely say it is bad to interfere in other’s matters. But many of us have a bad tendency for the same which is unwarranted and which can be seen as intrusive. This habit not only harms relationship but also steal the peace of mind.

The ego also creates a false boundary around us preventing us from seeing the beautiful world around us and leaving us drained.
